GRACE CHURCH
NORTH COUNTY SAN DIEGO, CA

SMALL GROUPS

In times of need and times of fun, Grace small groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or people who are dealing with similar life issues.

Small groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord. Groups meet in homes, businesses, restaurants, or at the church. The groups change and begin again three times a year, so you have the opportunity to try out different ones. You'll never fully experience all that Grace has to offer until you connect in a small group! The next semester will be for the months of January, February, and March. Join a group anytime!

When we learn to worship God through our life, we become better Christians, ministers, musicians, parents, and mechanics.

Transform every area of your life through worship.

This book unfolds a holistic view of worship so that you can experience peace, joy, and the richness of living in God’s presence. Be drawn to the heart of God as you explore answers to important questions such as:

  • What are praise and worship, and what is my part in them?
  • If I’m not a musician or singer, how can I be a worship leader?
  • What does the Bible teach about how we come into the presence of God and how we lead other people into the presence of God?

Each evening will end with a free form worship session!

Description: One day you will stand before God and give an account of your life. The most important question you can ask yourself now is, will you be ready?

Most Christians know their response to the cross determines where they will spend eternity. But did you know that how you’ll spend eternity is determined by what you do in this life?

God wants you to discover your calling—He’s not trying to keep you in the dark. In fact, He longs for you to find the meaning and purpose that comes with knowing why you’ve been placed on this earth.

In Driven by Eternity, best-selling author John Bevere uses an eye-opening allegory and extensive Scripture to unveil how our daily choices shape our eternal existence.

Life beyond the final breath is much more than a destination. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Discover your God-given destiny and make your life count both today and forever.

In this six-session video Bible study, Lysa TerKeurst digs deep into God’s Word to help you explore the roots of rejection, the way other relationships get tainted because of a past rejection, and the truth about what it looks like to live loved. With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will take you on a visual journey in the Holy Land to some of the places where people of the Bible such as Hannah, David, and even Jesus lived and walked.

Lysa will help you and your group to enter a place of healing and new perspective, as well as a time for you to go to new places with Jesus and experience him like never before.  Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken—a love that does not reject or uninvite.

This study guide is packed with deep Bible teaching and includes guided video notes, group discussion questions, and between-sessions personal studies.

Description: There is a reason we look at others as rivals and limit ourselves to comparison and competition. We have an enemy assaulting our mind, will, and emotions in the hope that we'll turn on ourselves and each other. It's a cycle that isolates us from intimate connections, creates confusion about our identity, and limits our purpose.

In Without Rival, bestselling author Lisa Bevere shares how a revelation of God's love breaks these limits. You'll learn how to stop seeing others as rivals and make the deep connections with your Creator you long for--connections that hold the promise of true identity and intimacy. With biblically sound teaching filled with prophetic insight for our day, Lisa uses humor and passion to challenge you to

· Flip rivalry so it brings out the best in you
· Stop hiding from conversations you need to be a part of
· Answer the argument that says women are unfit, easily deceived, and gullible
· Dismantle gender rivalry and work with the men in your life

It's time to step forward to live a life without rival.

Act Like Men | Small Group (SAT) | Grace Church

Men's Small Group - Act Like Men by James McDonald

Host: Greg Stevens

When: Every Saturday • 8:00am-9:30am •  1/21 - 3/4

Where: Grace Church (Crown Room)

Childcare: None Provided

Description: Man up; it’s the best thing you can do for others—and yourself

Men are so busy doing so many different things; when not working, their free time is often full of the trivial or sinful. But what society and church so desperately need are men who embrace all that God created them to be, who long to follow God without limits and meet the needs of those around them without hesitation.

To get there, we need what Pastor James MacDonald calls “radical surgery”—a deep, probing exploration and reparation of all that it means to be a man.

In his definitive, bold voice, MacDonald calls men to be watchful, firm in their faith, strong, and loving. This isn’t a call for bravado and bluster. It’s a call for men to mix tender and tough, to be humble, to follow Jesus. It is a call to be leaders, men of God, husbands who are present and caring and strong. It is straight talk—no posturing or posing or beating around the bush—inviting men to redemption and restoration in their manhood.

Description: Worship is more than music. It is the impetus for everything we do as Christians.  It is expressed through every action of our lives and helps us become more Christlike.
